The Role We’re seeking an experienced Body Piercer to join our team and deliver exceptional, safe, and inclusive client experiences. What You’ll Do Perform a full range of piercings using aseptic technique and single-use, sterile needles (no piercing guns). Conduct thorough consultations: anatomy assessment, jewellery sizing, aftercare coaching, and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate service records and consent forms; uphold studio hygiene protocols at all times. Manage sterilisation workflow: package instruments, operate & log autoclave cycles etc Support front-of-house as needed: client check-in, jewellery sales, inventory. Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture and mentor junior team members. What You Bring 2+ years professional piercing experience in a studio environment (portfolio required). Deep knowledge of safe materials and standards: ASTM F-136/F-1295 titanium, solid 14k+ gold etc Proven autoclave and ultrasonic proficiency. Excellent client communication, especially with first-timers and sensitive placements. Steady hands, strong anatomy knowledge, and impeccable attention to detail. Local piercing license/registration (Derby City Council) preferred.
