An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Unqualified Maths Teacher to join a well respected Specialist SEN Secondary School in Bilston, Wolverhampton. This part-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people and eager to begin or develop a career in education. The position will start in January and has the potential to become permanent. We are seeking an individual who can inspire, motivate, and support students with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them develop their mathematical understanding and confidence. Key Responsibilities Support in planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons that are adapted to meet the needs of each learner. Work with students with additional needs including Autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents/carers to support each students progress. Monitor student development and contribute to feedback and assessments under the guidance of qualified teaching staff. Requirements A genuine passion for education and supporting young people. Experience of teaching Maths and strong subject knowledge Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential). An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, SEN strategies and inclusive teaching approaches. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working as a Teacher.
