Regional Building Services Manager Location: Thames Valley (Regional Role – Not Site Based) Salary: Circa £100,000 + Highly Competitive Package A leading UK main contractor is seeking an experienced Regional Building Services Manager to take a pivotal role within its Thames Valley operations. This is a senior, strategic position offering regional oversight across a diverse portfolio of technically complex projects across the education, leisure, defence, healthcare, and laboratory sectors. The Role Reporting directly into the Head of Building Services, you will act as their number two, providing leadership, technical direction, and strategic oversight across all building services activities within the region. The role carries responsibility for approximately 10 live projects at any one time, supporting schemes ranging from schools and leisure centres through to defence facilities, healthcare environments, and highly serviced laboratory buildings. You will not be site based but will instead provide regional oversight, assurance, and leadership across the full project lifecycle, from tendering and pre-construction through design development and on-site delivery. Key Responsibilities • Regional oversight of all Building Services (M&E) delivery across multiple projects, • Line management, mentoring, and technical support of Building Services Managers on site, • Leading the building services input into tendering and pre-construction, including technical strategy, risk management, value engineering, and supply chain engagement, • Oversight of design development, coordination, and compliance through all relevant RIBA stages, • Ensuring consistent technical standards, quality, and best practice across the region, • Working closely with project, commercial, and senior leadership teams to drive successful outcomes, • Acting as the senior technical escalation point for complex building services challenges About You • Strong background in a senior building services role within a main contractor environment, • Proven experience delivering mechanical and electrical packages across complex projects, • Demonstrable capability across pre-construction, design management, and live delivery, • Experienced in overseeing multiple projects and managing technical teams regionally, • Commercially astute with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills What’s on Offer • Salary circa £100,000, dependent on experience, • Highly competitive package including car allowance, bonus, pension, and additional benefits, • A strategic, non-site-based regional position with real influence and autonomy, • Long-term career progression within a well-established and reputable main contractor
