Job description: Get2Talent is supporting a leading technology consultancy seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant. Youll join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, designing and building secure AWS infrastructure, automated deployment pipelines and shared platform services for high-profile UK Government and Defence projects. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone experienced in building new infrastructurenot solely maintaining existing environments. Key responsibilities • Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure, • Create automated CI/CD pipelines, • Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, • Build and operate platforms for containerised applications, • Support software deployment, monitoring and operational performance, • Lead technical delivery throughout the full project lifecycle, • Advise customers on AWS architecture and technology choices, • Manage senior stakeholder relationships and key project deliverables, • Mentor engineers and support junior team members, • Promote Agile best practices, including Scrum and KanbanWhat were looking for, • Strong commercial AWS experience, • Proven experience building new cloud infrastructure, • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation, • Experience with technologies such as Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes, • Good understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practices, • Experience delivering within Agile teams, • Ability to lead technical solutions and take ownership of delivery, • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills, • Experience mentoring or supporting other engineersSecurity requirements Applicants must: • Be a British citizen, • Have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years, • Be eligible to obtain UK security clearance Interested?
