We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has good attention to detail and enjoys working in a professional, friendly workshop environment. The Role As a Motor Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of servicing, repairs, maintenance and diagnostic work across a variety of makes and models. Your responsibilities will include: • Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance, • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, • Brake, suspension, steering and exhaust repairs, • Timing belt and timing chain replacements, • Clutch and gearbox repairs, • Carrying out vehicle inspections and fault finding, • Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults, • Completing MOT-related repairs, • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, • Carrying out safety checks and road tests where required, • Maintaining a clean and organised working area, • Providing accurate feedback on vehicle condition and additional work required, • Working as part of a friendly and supportive workshop team About You We are looking for a technician who: • Has proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician, • Has strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, • Can work independently and as part of a team, • Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship, • Has excellent attention to detail, • Is reliable, punctual and professional, • Has a positive attitude and good communication skills, • Holds a full UK driving licence, • Is able to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment MOT Licence Preferred An MOT Tester licence would be highly advantageous, although this is not essential. We would also welcome applications from experienced technicians who are looking to develop their skills and take on additional responsibilities within the workshop.
