    We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and ensuring the smooth operation of our café. Previous experience in hospitality or catering is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Responsibilities • Welcome customers warmly and take their orders accurately, • Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards, • Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking and presentation tasks, • Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, and kitchen spaces, • Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly, • Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently, • Support team members during busy periods to ensure prompt service, • Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is desirable, • Knowledge of food preparation and food safety procedures, • Barista experience is a plus but not essential; training can be provided, • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour, • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods, • Organised with strong attention to detail
