Each magazine has a maximum of 5 pages per cinema dedicated to local advertising, ranging from 1/8 page to a full page. This role will involve selling the advertising space to local businesses in and around the towns where the cinemas are located. You will work remotely and your week can be flexible, but will roughly consist of 2/3 days calling the businesses to arrange appointments and 2/3 days visiting the businesses in person, with the occasional need for an overnight stay. The successful applicant will be expected to work on their own initiative to plan and attend appointments on a face-to-face basis. You will need to ensure you research the locations you are visiting to ensure you are choosing the most popular areas/businesses. Some visits may need to be followed up with a phone call to close the deal if the business owner needs time to consider the offer. We have an Account Manager who you will report to on a daily basis regarding your progress and schedule.
