Key Candidate Requirements • Core Experience: Solid background in a precision sheet metal or plate environment, with a proven ability to work accurately to a tolerance., • Technical Skills: Must be able to confidently interpret technical drawings., • Material Expertise: Hands-on workshop experience with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel., • Machinery & Welding:, • CNC Brake Press experience is a plus, but training will be provided., • TIG and MIG welding capabilities are highly advantageous., • Attributes: High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ideally time-served (completed apprenticeship/equivalent experience). Hours & Overtime Structure • Core Hours: A standard day-shift pattern with an early finish on Fridays., • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00, • Friday: 07:30 – 14:00, • Overtime: Available Monday to Saturday, paid at Time and a Half (1.5x). Salary & Benefits Package • Pay Rate: £15.00 to £18.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)., • Holiday: 20 days per annum for the first year, rising to 25 days per annum from year two onwards (plus all Bank Holidays)., • Work Environment: Access to modern workshop equipment, excellent staff welfare facilities, and a pipeline of interesting, varied project work., • Progression: Ongoing machine and skills training provided on the job
