As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen efficiently and consistently. You will prepare, cook, and present dishes to our exact standards, while supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining kitchen operations, hygiene, and safety. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, cook, and present all menu items for your section following recipes and portion control, • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistent and meet our standards, • Manage stock levels, rotate stock, and report shortages or waste to the Sous Chef, • Maintain strict hygiene and cleanliness of your section, equipment, and work areas, • Comply with all health & safety, food safety, and HACCP regulations, • Assist with menu development and testing new dishes when required, • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff/commis chefs as needed, • Work collaboratively with the whole kitchen team during service and prep Requirements • Previous experience as Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen, • Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment, • Understanding of food safety standards (Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred), • Ability to work well under pressure during busy service periods, • Strong time management, organisation, and communication skills, • Flexible attitude to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

As Sous Chef, you will be second‑in‑command to the Head Chef and play a key part in the smooth running of our kitchen. You will help deliver consistent, high‑standard dishes every service, support with menu development and ensure our kitchen runs efficiently, safely and to the highest hygiene standards. Key responsibilities: • Assist the Head Chef with day‑to‑day kitchen operations and organisation • Prepare, cook and present dishes to our exact recipes and standards • Supervise, train and support junior chefs and kitchen assistants • Control stock, reduce waste and manage food costs • Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety and hygiene regulations • Step up to lead the kitchen and run full services when the Head Chef is off • Help create new dishes and update seasonal menus What we’re looking for: • Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients and food presentation • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2/3 desirable) • Ability to work well under pressure, lead a team and stay organised during busy services • Reliable, hard‑working and passionate about great food • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
