PE Teacher (Cover) \n\n • Location: Loughton\n, • Job Type: Temporary\n, • Start Date: Immediate\n\n We are seeking a PE Teacher to cover for our current Head of PE at a faith school in Loughton. This temporary position involves covering PE lessons up to Year 11, starting immediately. The role is ideal for someone who can manage the responsibilities of a PE Teacher while our Head of PE is unavailable. \n Day-to-day of the role: \n\n • Deliver engaging PE lessons to students up to Year 11, ensuring a high standard of learning and student engagement.\n, • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.\n, • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different students.\n, • Ensure all lessons are planned with clear aims and objectives.\n, • Maintain the standards and ethos of the school while the Head of PE is absent.\n, • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the physical education curriculum.\n\n Required Skills & Qualifications: \n\n • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.\n, • Experience in teaching PE to secondary school students.\n, • Strong classroom management skills.\n, • Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater for different learning needs.\n, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n, • Commitment to professional development and learning.\n, • Enhanced DBS check (the role is subject to the return of a satisfactory DBS check).\n\n To apply for this PE Teacher position, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and availability to start. \n
