Due to continued growth and a major housing development in Stevenage, we are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our project team for an immediate start. This role will involve overseeing and coordinating all groundworks activities for a large residential housing development. Key Responsibilities: Setting out for all aspects of groundworks, including: Foundations Drainage Section 278 (S278) works Roads, sewers and external works Managing quality control and ensuring works are delivered to specification Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times Producing as-built records and site documentation Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Engineer within the groundworks sector working on residential units Strong background working on new build housing developments Solid understanding of drainage, foundations, and S278 works Ability to set out independently using GPS / total station equipment Valid CSCS card (minimum) Full UK driving licence preferred What's on Offer: Immediate start Long-term opportunity on a major residential scheme Competitive salary or day rate (dependent on experience) Opportunity to work with a respected and growing contractor If you are an experienced Site Engineer looking for your next challenge in Stevenage, we'd love to hear from you.
