Maintenance Engineer | Industrial / Mechanical Engineering | Colchester | Up to £39,000 4-on, 4-off day shifts + overtime About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established FMCG business near Colchester. This is a practical role in a busy production environment, maintaining and optimising machinery to ensure production targets and product quality are consistently met. You will work on equipment such as: Multi-head weighers Bagging machines Graders Conveyors Pneumatics and sensors Your main responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults across production machinery Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules Supporting small engineering projects and site improvements Occasionally assisting with facilities maintenance Ensuring all machinery meets uptime, safety, and hygiene standards Full training on specific packaging machinery will be provided, but previous industrial or factory maintenance experience is essential. Head of Operations / Chelmsford / £70,000 Per Annum Depending on Experience + Benefits As Head of Operations, you will take overall responsibility for the strategic planning and day-to-day operational performance of the company’s in-house Chelmsford warehouse, transport fleet, and third-party logistics providers.
