Children's Activity Leader - Luxury Beach Club in Greece - Summer 2026 Seasonal Contract | May - October 2026 | Zakynthos, Greece About The Peligoni Club The Peligoni Club is a family-run members club on the beautiful island of Zakynthos, Greece. Our children’s programme is designed to be lively, imaginative and full of adventure - giving young guests the chance to play, explore and make friends while their parents relax. We run sessions for a range of age groups: • Crèche (4 months – 3 years) – a calm, nurturing space for our littlest guests, • Rugrats (4–5 years) – playful, creative sessions focused on confidence and fun, • TARKA (6–10 years) – action-packed games, challenges and outdoor adventures We’re looking for fun, confident and energetic Children’s Activity Leaders to deliver engaging sessions for children aged 2.5 to 10, with occasional involvement in teen activities. You’ll spend most of your time running activities for our older crèche children (2.5–3 years), Rugrats (4–5), and TARKA (6–10), helping them get stuck into games, challenges and creative adventures. You will need to be comfortable supporting the crèche team during lunch breaks, which may include helping care for some of our younger crèche children (4 months–2.5 years). You’ll also take part in our babysitting programme, with a minimum of two evening babysitting shifts per week (paid in addition to your salary). This role is perfect for someone who loves leading games, getting outdoors and inspiring confidence in children - someone who can be silly, adventurous and imaginative, while maintaining a strong sense of safety and care. Key Responsibilities • Lead fun, age-appropriate activities for children aged 2.5–10, with occasional teen activity support., • Work confidently across Crèche (older end), Rugrats and TARKA groups., • Support the crèche team during lunch breaks, including caring for younger children when needed., • Run indoor and outdoor sessions: sports, crafts, games, challenges and creative play., • Encourage children to join in, build friendships and feel confident in new settings., • Set up, run and pack down activities and equipment., • Maintain high standards of supervision, safety and care at all times., • Carry out daily risk assessments and follow all health and safety procedures., • Keep activity areas clean, tidy and engaging., • Communicate warmly and professionally with parents., • Support Kids Tea and evening sessions as scheduled., • Work a minimum of 2 nights babysitting (for which you will be paid extra), • Work collaboratively with the childcare and activities team. You will be someone who is: • Energetic, enthusiastic and confident with children of all ages., • Creative and happy to lead imaginative games, crafts, sports and challenges., • Fun, friendly and outgoing, with the ability to put nervous children at ease., • Safety-conscious, responsible and calm under pressure., • Patient, caring and able to adapt activities as needed., • A strong communicator who builds rapport easily with parents and colleagues., • Reliable, organised and a positive team player with a “can do” attitude., • Proven experience working with children (experience across multiple age groups preferred)., • Valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate., • DBS Certificate, Garda Vetting, or equivalent., • Strong swimming ability., • Experience working in childcare, holiday clubs, sports coaching, activity camps or similar. Watersports Instructor - Summer 2026 - Various Mediterranean Resorts LOCATION: Europe - We have various Neilson Beach Clubs across the Mediterranean DATES: Summer seasonal, April until November REPORTS TO: Beach Manager SALARY: Up to £570 PCM gross + Shared accommodation + flights, meals + great overall package JOB DETAILS: The Neilson Watersports Instructor role is our entry-level instructor position, and you MUST be qualified as a Dinghy Instructor and/or Windsurfing Instructor to be successful. You'll work closely with your Beach Team to deliver safe, fun, and engaging Dinghy Sailing and/or Windsurfing sessions for guests of all ages. We expect our team to go above and beyond to create an unforgettable holiday experience for our guests. Working for Neilson is more than a job; it's a lifestyle. You'll be working hard, but the work is fun, and there's always plenty of time to play. We're looking for friendly, energetic, and approachable people who can build rapport with ease. JOB CRITERIA & RESPONSIBILITIES • To deliver outstanding watersports instruction in line with the RYA syllabus and the Neilson programme., • Assist in preparing, organising, delivering, and running activities on and off the water., • Prepare suitable experience and ability-based sessions., • To ensure the highest standard of health and safety is adhered to., • To fully advise guests on the practical/safe use of all beach equipment., • Take personal responsibility for the maintenance, repair, and security of all Neilson equipment., • Ensure that the appearance of the beach, the racks and the simulators always meet guest expectations., • To organise/host social events and briefings., • Be prepared to move between resorts according to the operational needs of the business., • Willing to help out and cover in other departments as required by the business. A valid First Aid certificate is a prerequisite for ALL Neilson Active job roles for the duration of your contract. We will validate this as part of your onboarding process. The First Aid certificate acquired with your Water sports Instructor qualification is valid for three years, so please ensure that your First Aid is up to date. If your First Aid has expired, you must identify a course that covers the RYA First Aid requirements via the RYA website. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Royal Yachting Association (RYA) - Windsurfing or Dinghy Instructor qualification - (Including a Power Boat Level 2 certificate)., • All Beach Team staff are required to hold a valid RYA membership., • International Certificate of Competence (ICC) - Apply & obtain for free through your RYA membership account - Sign in to My RYA, • Previous experience working in a water sports environment or as a Watersports Instructor is desirable., • A solid understanding and knowledge covering the use of watersports equipment and the associated safety procedures., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment., • Strong organisational and time management skills., • Flexible to work all the required hours with your team to get the job done well., • Ability to deliver fun, engaging, safe and informative tuition., • To be skilled in safety procedures and on-water rescue practice., • Knowledge of the current Sailing/Windsurfing industry is desirable., • Ability to assist your guests with rigging and de-rigging dinghy and windsurf kit., • The ability to confidently hold a conversation and instruct in English.
