    Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Carers / Support Workers to join our team in Maidstone. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals within their own homes, including those with complex healthcare needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives through personalised care, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Qualifications and Experience • Previous experience in domiciliary care, supported living, residential care, or complex care is preferred., • Experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs such as PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, or respiratory conditions is desirable., • Full training and competency assessments will be provided where required., • Valid UK driving licence is desirable., • Good organisational and communication skills., • Basic IT skills for electronic care records., • Compassionate and person-centred approach to care. Key Responsibilities • Support individuals with complex healthcare needs in accordance with care plans and risk assessments., • Support clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting., • Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling practices., • Follow individual care plans and provide support tailored to each person's needs and preferences., • Support clients with meal preparation, hydration, and medication support where appropriate., • Maintain accurate and timely care records using electronic care systems., • Monitor and report any changes in a client's health, wellbeing, or circumstances., • Build positive relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals., • Accompany or transport clients to appointments and community activities where required., • Promote independence, choice, dignity, and social inclusion., • Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and company policies at all times.
