Job Title: L&D Advisor Salary: £36,000–£39,000 + benefits Location: Blackpool/Leyland (site-based, with travel between both locations) This is a great step-up opportunity for someone with L&D experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or logistics environment. If you’ve been working as an L&D Administrator or Coordinator and are ready to take on more responsibility, or you’re already an Advisor who wants a role with ownership and variety, this could be a strong next move. The business has grown quickly to around 250 employees, and the HR/L&D team has expanded with it. With three administrators already in place, this role will act as the point of contact who coordinates activity, supports the team, and makes sure processes run smoothly. It’s a chance to build on your current skills and gradually take on more as the function develops. They operate two locations - Blackpool and Leyland. The person can be based at either but will need to spend their week across both sites (travel expenses are covered). Day-to-day you’ll be overseeing operational and compliance training, liaising with providers, managing SOP sign-offs, and keeping training matrices up to date. Alongside that, you’ll have the opportunity to shape improvements in areas like onboarding, and longer term to get involved in leadership and skills development. What you’ll be doing: • Coordinating training across two busy sites, • Scheduling and managing external training with providers, • Keeping SOPs, training matrices, and sign-offs up to date, • Supporting and mentoring the L&D admin team, • Helping improve onboarding, with scope to contribute to future development projects What we’re looking for: • L&D experience in a manufacturing, construction, logistics, or industrial environment, • Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach, • Confidence working across different teams and levels, • CIPD or other qualifications are helpful, but experience is what matters most Why join?
