Overview We’re looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to help us build Tallow + Ash into one of the most exciting modern brands in the UK and change the laundry aisle for good. You’ll work closely with the founders and wider team to help our website perform at its best, making sure the online shopping experience feels smooth, exciting and true to the brand. This is a fast paced, collaborative role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who loves trading, improving performance and spotting ways to make the customer journey even better. As we grow, you’ll play a big role in shaping how our ecommerce channel develops while helping keep the brand experience strong from first click to checkout. Key Responsibilities 1. Helping the website perform at its best • Own the day to day trading of the website to help drive revenue and conversion, • Keep a close eye on performance and make improvements based on customer behaviour and trading data, • Help make sure the website is always up to date, easy to shop and performing strongly 2. Bringing launches and campaigns to life online • Lead the ecommerce side of product launches, campaigns and promotional activity, • Make sure products, collections and landing pages are presented in the best possible way, • Work closely with the wider team to ensure the website reflects the brand and supports key priorities 3. Improving the customer journey • Look at the full online shopping journey and spot areas that could work better, • Test and refine different parts of the website to improve performance over time, • Help create a smoother, more enjoyable experience from first visit to checkout 4. Using insight to keep improving • Track website and product performance to understand what is working and where we can improve, • Share clear insights and recommendations with the wider team, • Use data to support better decisions around trading, merchandising and customer experience The Brand Tallow + Ash is a modern UK brand reimagining laundry with a blend of luxury and sustainability. Founded in June 2023, we create non-toxic, biodegradable, and vegan laundry products that deliver designer-level fragrance without compromising on skin safety or environmental impact. Developed by UK chemists and master perfumers, the range includes laundry shampoos, conditioners, fabric sprays, and stain removers, all free from dyes, phosphates, and microplastics. The mission is to transform laundry from a chore into a ritual, offering products that are both effective and aesthetically pleasing.

You’ll work closely with the founders and wider team to help make sure we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time as we continue to grow. This is a fast paced, collaborative role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who loves staying organised, thinking ahead and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. As we grow, you’ll play a big role in helping us make smarter buying decisions, keep stock flowing well and build stronger foundations for the future. Key Responsibilities 1. Helping make sure stock is in the right place at the right time • Help make sure we have the right levels of stock in place across the business, • Monitor inventory closely to avoid stock outs while also keeping stock levels healthy, • Support planning to ensure products are available when and where they need to be 2. Managing stock buying and purchasing • Manage the day to day buying process across products and materials, • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to help keep purchasing smooth and well organised, • Support timely and accurate ordering based on business needs and demand 3. Improving stock planning and forecasting • Use sales data, trends and business context to support better stock decisions, • Help improve forecasting and stock planning processes as the business grows, • Spot risks early and help the team respond to potential supply or availability issues 4. Apprentice Floor Layer Apprenticeship Standard: Level 2 Textiles & Impervious Floorcoverings Location: Oak Farm and based on site with travel to various commercial and domestic locations. Working hours: 7:30am-4:30pm Salary: £19,000 About the Role Lake and Co. are looking for their first ever Apprentice to support their ongoing growth. The apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled floor layers. You will learn how to prepare subfloors, install a wide range of commercial and domestic flooring products, and work safely and professionally on construction sites and customer premises. The role combines practical on-site work with structured training delivered by a specialist training provider. Key Responsibilities During the apprenticeship you will learn to: • Assist with subfloor preparation, including screeding, levelling and installing plywood., • Support the installation of different floor coverings including vinyl, carpet tiles, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), safety flooring and impervious and textile flooring., • Safely handle, transport and store flooring materials, tools and equipment., • Assess and test existing floor surfaces, including checking moisture levels, temperature and subfloor condition before installation., • Help plan flooring installation work, including preparing materials and understanding project requirements., • Measure and estimate materials needed for flooring projects., • Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and customer service., • Follow all relevant Health & Safety procedures on construction sites and in occupied buildings., • Work as part of a team to complete flooring projects. Training and Development You will work towards the Level 2 Textiles & Impervious Flooring qualification.Your learning will be through the training provider, Floorskills. Training will include: • Practical on-site learning with experienced floor layers, • Block Training with the training provider for a full week, on a bi-monthly basis. Skills and Qualities We are looking for someone who: • Can communicate well and work as part of a small team, • Listens carefully and follows instructions, • Is organised and reliable, • Enjoys practical, hands-on work, • Can think of solutions when problems occur, • Understands and is comfortable with the physical aspect of the role, • Can remain calm and focused when work becomes busy or difficult, • Can use basic maths for measuring and planning What can we do for you?
