The Role We are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor / Project Manager to join our growing team. In this dual-role, you will manage a portfolio of education sector projects from initial feasibility through to completion, providing both strategic advice and hands-on delivery. Key Responsibilities • Lead refurbishment and construction projects across primary, secondary, and higher education institutions., • Carry out condition surveys, feasibility studies, and defect analysis., • Manage projects through RIBA stages, ensuring compliance with DfE and local authority regulations., • Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery., • Provide contract administration and project management support across multiple schemes., • Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development initiatives. Job Title: Disrepair Manager Location: West London Contract Type: Perm Salary: £35.00ph Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Disrepair Manager to oversee and deliver effective disrepair and reactive maintenance services within a social housing contract. Based out of the Croydon office, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a team of Supervisors, Administrators, Planners, and Operatives to deliver a responsive and efficient disrepair service., • Oversee and continuously improve customer satisfaction across the contract, ensuring service excellence., • Review and manage large multi-trade repair jobs to ensure accurate scheduling, correct trade allocation, and appropriate timeframes., • Collaborate with the Commercial team to monitor and resolve invoicing issues that may impact contract profitability., • Ensure all operations are conducted in full compliance with Health and Safety standards and internal operating frameworks., • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of maintenance works in alignment with contract expectations and budgetary constraints. Expertise within Damp and Mould and Roofing is required., • Demonstrable success in managing large-scale maintenance contracts and diverse teams, including both direct labour and supply chain partners., • Proven ability to manage and enforce Health and Safety protocols and regulations., • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, profit/loss margins, and invoicing issues., • Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders at all levels., • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and improving resident satisfaction., • Full UK driving licence is essential.
