The Discovery consists of 3 phases; D1, D2 and OAT/UAT; D1 - Is the initial installation of the application on a Standalone Vanilla Machine, to ensure the application install and launches in a clean environment, this also allows us to check how many EXE / MSI's the installation consists of. D2 - After the software has gone through approval and the software has been purchased, the software comes through for Discovery, this stage is where we install application on a network machine and confirm that is works as on the D1. Upon this failing trouble shooting will need to be carried out. At this point we engage with the customer to get their requirements of the application, such as settings, customization, and additional addons, and ensure we include this and get them working. The user then tests the application to ensure everything is working as intended before it goes off for packaging. At this point we get the user to create a UAT document which is a guide and instructional document, which explains in detail what they will carry out to test the application to ensure it is working to their requirements. The Software and documents pass to the packager, where the package is created. OAT/UAT - On receiving the package, we run through the UAT document to the best of our ability to ensure no new errors have crept in. and then the application is added to MECM and is tested again to ensure the package works correctly being deployed. And lastly, we call in the users for Formal UAT testing of the application, to run through the UAT document they created to test the application functionality. And upon this passing their tests the user completes the UAT sign off and the application is ready for deployment. Main Goal To meet or exceed the monthly sales targets by proactively promoting the Kyocera range of ICT, Content Services and MPS Solutions, build strong customer relationships in order to maximise the portfolio and lifetime value to the customer to Kyocera. The role will directly report to the Inside Sales Manager and will align within the sales organisational structure. The focus market is both to existing and new business across all market sectors , Commercial , Corporate and Public Sector The role will ensure all existing and new sales opportunities utilise the entire portfolio of annuity or subscription services, hardware, software and professional services. This desk based inside sales role will sell solutions, services and products to existing Kyocera, Annodata & MCL customers as well as new logo to all areas, via the telephone, online meetings or written communications. Responsibilities/Tasks • Responsible for sales process from contact through to close, • New Business focus within Existing Print and New logo accounts, • Responsibility for Kyocera, Annodata, MCL customers low end requirements, • Proactive sales of selected Content Services , ICT and MPS Products & Solutions, • Develop knowledge of total BS & MPS Portfolio, • Identify Decision makers within target customers & Prospects, • Utilise full range of resource tools including but not limited to Bus Gen Support , marketing, social media platforms., • Manage time to achieve key performance indicators, • Update manage and maintain SFDC as per guidelines and KPI’s, • Responding to Service desk tickets e.g. Mobiles and T&M tickets., • Follow up on marketing run business campaigns, • Call focussed targeted markets promoting key products and services, • Direct responsibility of all Business Solutions renewals below £20K threshold., • Developing day to day relationships with key clients & stakeholders., • High levels of Customer Satisfaction., • Good relationship with Technical Services Staff to specify customer requirement correctly., • Close relationship with SOP staff in order that the correct level of detail is provided ensuring purchase ordering and invoicing is not delayed. Knowledge, Experience & Skills • Good written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to exceed targets through structured approach and pipeline management, • Maintain efficient diary and time management., • Demonstratable previous experience within a sales role is essential, prior knowledge of our industry would be advantageous., • Fully understand leasing & deal construction is essential, • Results orientated, driven to succeed, achieve and exceed targets., • Experiencing of using relationship management tools (Salesforce) and competent in using all MS office programs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel SharePoint, Teams etc., • Proven experience of negotiation skills and the ability to close deals., • Building rapport with customers- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback., • Comfortable in cross selling being able to use initiative to offer alternative solutions to potential customers., • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
