Location:Manchester, UK Salary:£50,000 £55,000 per annum Working Hours:Full Time Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm About the Company: We are afamily-owned property developer and main contractorwith a substantial commercial property portfolio across the UK. Based inSouth Manchester, the business has successfully delivered the development and refurbishment ofover 2 million sq. ft. of office and industrial space. Our projects are primarily located across theNorth West and West Midlands, with an exciting pipeline ofover 500,000 sq. ft. of new-build developments planned over the next 1824 months. Working closely with asset management teams and supply chain partners, we deliverinnovative, high-quality commercial developments, including new-build industrial schemes and major refurbishment projects. The Role: We are seeking an experiencedContractor Quantity Surveyorto join ourdevelopment and construction team in Manchester. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio ofcommercial, industrial, and development projects, supporting the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role incost management, contract administration, and project coordination, ensuring developments are deliveredon time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Deliverday-to-day commercial management of projects on site, • Work closely withdesign teams, consultants, and project stakeholders, • Coordinate and collatecontract award packages, • Developproject documentation, programmes, and master budgets, • Price and estimate project costsacross development stages, • Maintainrobust document control systems, • Ensure compliance withinternal governance frameworks, • Monitor and reportcontractor progress against programmes, • Assist in ensuring consultant teamsdeliver design and build projects in line with contract requirements, • Developwork breakdown structuresfor cost estimating and contract placement, • Review and assessscope of works for contract packages The ideal candidate will have strong commercial awareness and experience working within theconstruction or development sector. You will ideally have: • Adegree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline, • AConstruction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) xrnqpay cardor the ability to obtain one, • Strong understanding ofconstruction processes and contractual documentation, • Ability tointerpret technical drawings and specifications, • Experience inconstruction management, civil or structural engineering, contract management, or quantity surveying, • Stronginitiative, leadership, and communication skills, • Ability tobuild strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, • Experience usingconstruction management or project management software, • Competitive salary, • Pension scheme, • Annual salary review, • Career development and training opportunities, • On-site parking, • Opportunity to work on adiverse pipeline of commercial development projects
