I’m working with a well-regarded law firm in Kent that’s looking to bring in an experienced Legal Executive or Paralegal to join their established Court of Protection team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in Private Client or Court of Protection work who’s looking for a role with real client involvement and responsibility. \n What’s nice about this position is the nature of the work itself. The role itself \n You’ll be part of a respected Court of Protection team, supporting on a range of matters and taking an active role in client care. Your responsibilities will include: \n\n • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and referrers\n, • Managing client care from initial instruction through to file closure\n, • Handling the financial aspects of matters\n, • Maintaining strict confidentiality of client and firm information\n, • Supporting the wider team with duties as required\n\n There may also be occasional client visits, so some travel will be involved. Our client, a well-established chartered surveying practice covering London and the South East, is looking for a Graduate or Assistant Building Surveyor to join their team in Tunbridge Wells or Hastings. This is a business built on social housing and NHS contracts, so you'll be working on live, varied projects from day one rather than sitting on the sidelines. You’ll support the wider surveying team across stock condition surveys, planned maintenance, and disrepair work, gaining exposure to the full spread of social housing and healthcare estate projects the practice handles. Attitude and aptitude come first here. Whether you’re a graduate starting out or an assistant with some experience already under your belt, if you’ve got the right approach, they’ll invest in you. Building surveying or a related built environment degree is expected, but hands‑on experience is a nice‑to‑have, not a requirement. Your APC is fully supported, with salary increases tied directly to your progress through it.
