Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Labourer to assist with a variety of construction tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will be motivated, willing to learn, and able to work well in a team environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with daily tasks Load, unload, and move materials and equipment Operate hand tools and basic power tools (under supervision) Prepare and clean up construction sites Follow safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment Perform other general labour duties as required Get to site by themselves Requirements: Previous experience in construction or general labour (preferred but not required) Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials Basic knowledge of tools and equipment Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Commitment to workplace health and safety Benefits: Competitive hourly wage Opportunity for overtime Training and skill development provided Career growth opportunities within the company

    We are a looking for friendly, literate, well organised person to assist with our online publishing projects and in person events including Social Work Today, the Social Work Show and The Compass Jobs Fairs. The job is full time and we are currently recruiting for a 3 month period with a view to growing the role. Requires • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, • Basic knowledge of desktop publishing, • Good organisational skills, • Good Interpersonal skills, • Able to liaise with contributors and advertisers Non essential requirements • Knowledge of the health and social care sector, • Working with public sector and charity clients You will be working closely with the team to keep our projects up to date and operational. This is a role for someone who would like to develop their career within a growing, friendly publishing company and would suit a recent school leaver or graduate.
