Product Compliance Engineer (ATEX / Hazardous Area) 📍 Cambridge, hybrid | ⏰ 37.5 hours A growing technology business is looking for a Product Compliance Engineer with strong ATEX and intrinsic safety experience to take ownership of compliance for battery powered IIoT products deployed in hazardous environments. This role is about technical ownership. You will be the point of reference for ATEX and Ex compliance, working closely with engineering and operations to ensure products are certified, documented, and audit ready from concept through to manufacture. We’re looking for a Hardware Engineer who enjoys building real products that make it out of the lab and into the world. You'll be working for an SME looking to get their first medical product to market. You’ll be working on medical, diagnostic, and scientific devices, which are battery-powered, low-power, and highly regulated, taking ideas from early concepts through design, testing, compliance, and into production. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, not a box-ticking exercise.
