Vehicle Technician • 42.5 – 45 hours a week, • Monday - Friday + alternating Saturdays, • 8am to 5:30pm with 1 hour break, • Alternating Saturdays 8am-1pm, • Salary between £30,000 - £42,500, • Performance Related Bonus, • 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), • Pension Scheme & Life Assurance, • Privilege vehicle purchase scheme, • Discount on Service, Bodyshop and Parts Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician: • Carry out services on specific makes and models of vehicles, • Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation, • Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment, • General maintenance and repairs, • Carrying out MOT Tests (If qualified to do so), • Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs), • Suspension work, • Repairs on lights, • Repairing and replacing exhausts, • Repairing and replacing clutches, • Dealing with gearboxes, • Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience., • Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed Vehicle Technician Requirements: • NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services, • Hold a full valid driver license., • Hold a valid MOT Tester certificate - Highly beneficial but not essential
