    GRILL CHEF – PLEASE SIR! We’re looking for a confident, hardworking Grill Chef to join the Please Sir! team. Please Sir! is all about serving seriously good smash burgers, quickly and consistently, while keeping the energy high and the standards even higher. We’re looking for someone who can handle a busy grill, work well under pressure and become a reliable part of our team. The Role As a Grill Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking our menu to the Please Sir! standard, with a particular focus on our signature smash burgers. Your responsibilities will include: • Cooking and smashing burgers on the grill to specification, • Preparing and cooking other menu items and sides, • Following recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards, • Managing multiple orders during busy service, • Preparing and maintaining your station before, during and after service, • Completing food preparation and stock rotation, • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards, • Monitoring stock levels and communicating shortages, • Following allergen and food safety procedures, • Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly, • Cleaning down equipment and kitchen areas at the end of service Who We’re Looking For Experience working on a grill or in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred, but attitude is just as important to us as experience. THE ROLE As Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen during service. REQUIREMENTS • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef within a high-end restaurant., • Excellent organisation and time-management skills., • Ability to remain calm and lead effectively during busy services., • A good knowledge of English is essential for this role. Understanding of Italian would be an advantage., • Knowledge of Italian Cuisine is a plus., • Reliable, punctual and professional. The restaurant will currently operates Tuesday to Sunday, offering lunch and dinner service. As the restaurant grows, we plan to open 7 days a week for both lunch and dinner.
