Job Title: Comms Designer Location: Remote (with 1-2 onsite days per month in London or Windsor) Rate: £500-£550 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) Contract Length: Until end of 2026 Working Pattern: Full Time About the Role We're looking for an experienced Comms Designer to join a major customer‑experience transformation programme. This role is perfect for someone who can blend strong visual design, customer‑first thinking, and hands‑on HTML email production to modernise and optimise communications seen by millions of customers. You'll work across both digital (email) and print (letters), redesigning operational and journey‑based comms to make them clearer, more engaging, and more accessible. Key Responsibilities Design and evolve customer communications across email and print. Translate complex operational content into simple, customer‑centric experiences. Produce scalable, accessible designs using Figma (priority tool) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Code responsive, accessible HTML email templates. Build and test email templates within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar ESP). Deliver email‑focused design for one role and general comms design for the other. Collaborate with Brand, Product Design, Comms Managers, Copywriters, and technical teams. Maintain strong brand consistency while driving continuous improvements in performance and customer experience. What We're Looking For Proven experience designing both digital and print communications. Strong proficiency in Figma (design systems, templates, layout). Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Solid HTML/CSS skills for building responsive, cross‑client compatible emails. Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms. A strong understanding of customer journeys, operational comms, and accessibility best practice. Detail‑oriented, with the ability to balance creativity, UX principles, and channel best practices. Interview Process 1‑stage interview, including a design/HTML task to be completed beforehand.
