The ideal candidate will possess: Essential qualifications: • First-class or 2:1 degree in Systems Engineering or a related field, or a relevant post-graduate qualification, • Strong technical understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including:, • Requirements management, • System design processes (system and sub-system specification), • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, • Strong organisational and time management skills, • Adaptability to work in teams of varying sizes and compositions, • Collaborative mindset, thriving in multi-disciplinary environments, • Proficiency in influencing and stakeholder management, • Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities, • Enthusiasm for emerging technologies and industry trends Desirable: • Experience in using requirements management tools such as DOORS or DOORS NG., • Experience of MBSE techniques, tools (such as Cameo System Modeler, Rhapsody or Capella) and frameworks (such as Magic Grid, Harmony, Arcadia, CESAM, OOSEM, SYSMOD or CORE), • Experience in using Model Based Design tools such as Matlab and Simulink. To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
