Patient Data Entry Administrator\n\nPertemps are recruiting for multiple Patient Data Entry Administrators to join a leading Health Services Provider. The successful candidates will be a key member of the Triage, Data Input and Screening Team, responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining patient data across internal systems, while providing effective clerical and administrative support to the team and Management.\n\nThis is a fully remote/home-based role. The position will initially be on a temporary ongoing basis through Pertemps, with the possibility of becoming permanent depending on performance and business needs. Although previous experience is required, full and in-depth training will be provided.\n\nResponsibilities as a Patient Data Entry Administrator\n\nAccurately input, update and maintain electronic patient records within internal systems and databases.\n\nHandle high volumes of data entry, ensuring all patient information, assessments and appointment details are recorded correctly.\n\nAct as the first point of contact for NHS services, responding to enquiries, answering calls and escalating queries when required while delivering excellent customer service.\n\nCommunicate sensitively with professionals, patients, carers and families, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.\n\nBook and manage virtual and face-to-face clinic appointments and support ongoing patient treatment pathways.\n\nMonitor patient databases to ensure pre-assessment questionnaires and screening forms are completed and accurately recorded.\n\nFollow up with patients or external services where required to obtain missing information for records.\n\nIdentify safeguarding concerns and follow company safeguarding procedures.\n\nProvide administrative support including preparing patient information packs, typing correspondence, collating information and producing reports.\n\nSupport the Management Team with clinician availability scheduling, database updates, SharePoint folder setup and coordination of sensitive matters such as incidents or complaints.\n\nMonitor relevant email inboxes, track resources and provide cross-cover to maintain an effective administrative service.\n\nManage workload independently, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines to support the smooth running of the department.\n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious data entry experience is essential.\n\nAdministration experience within a data-heavy role.\n\nExperience using databases and confident IT skills.\n\nStrong attention to detail and data accuracy.\n\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills.\n\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment.\n\nClear understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive information.\n\nSelf-sufficient with strong problem-solving ability.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage workload effectively.\n\nWilling to undertake a DBS check.\n\nComfortable working with high-volume, repetitive data entry tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy\n\nDesirable\n\nKnowledge of mental health terminology\n\nExperience working for a health or social care organisation\n\nKnowledge of Salesforce\n\nKnowledge of MS SharePoint\n\nThe Role\n\nFully remote, home-based (all IT equipment will be provided)\n\nMonday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch\n\nSalary: £24,500\n\nIf you are interested in this Patient Data Entry Administrator role, please apply with an up-to-date CV
