The Role Reporting to the Sales Director, this Senior National Account Manager role will lead growth with key customers in the grocery channel including Sainsbury’s, Asda, Ocado and Co-Op. Sainsbury’s is currently the biggest customer in the portfolio you’ll be managing, so experience with them would be a big advantage as it’s a strategically important customer with a great relationship that still has a lot more headroom for growth opportunity to unlock. Key Responsibilities • Take full ownership of the customer P&L to achieve revenue and profit targets, • Build strong buyer relationships to secure new listings & grow distribution, • Ownership of customer trade plans – pricing, promotions, trade terms, • Management of customer trade spend budget to deliver profitable growth, • Build collaborative cross functional relationships to align internally on customer plans e.g. forecasting and supply chain The Person • 3+ years of national account management experience in the grocery retail channel (branded FMCG), • A demonstrable track record of winning new business and sales growth, • Commercially astute and comfortable with category-based selling, • Strong relationship builder and team player, • Ability to work at pace in a dynamic SME environment, • A foodie! A passion for premium quality food is a big bonus
