We call these huge small victories and whilst they may seem small on the surface, they add up to make a big difference.\n\nCheck out this video on what life as a at Witherslack Group is like!\n\nGet out what you put in\n\nYou’ll be working on a 1:1 basis with a young girl with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing consistent support to help her feel safe, regulated and ready to learn. This role requires someone calm, compassionate and emotionally resilient, with experience supporting children or young people with mental health needs.\n\nYour focus will be on building a trusting relationship, helping her regulate emotions and supporting her to return to baseline so she can successfully engage in learning and daily school life. Every small step forward will make a meaningful difference to her confidence, wellbeing and progress.\n\nThis can be a challenging but incredibly rewarding role. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supported by an experienced and caring team within a well-resourced environment.
