The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, credible and forward thinking Lead Occupational Health Advisor to join our Occupational Health & Wellbeing service. Working in close partnership with the Head of Occupational Health Clinical Operations and the wider OH leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive, high quality and commercially effective Occupational Health service across UKIM Occupational Health and Wellbeing. This hybrid role, based in the North East, offers the best of both worlds: • Strategic leadership and service influence, • Hands on senior clinical practice As Lead OHA, you will operate as an autonomous senior clinician and people leader, trusted to make sound professional judgements and to set clinical standards across the service. You will: Lead & Inspire • Lead, supervise and support a team of Occupational Health clinicians, • Provide line management, inductions, appraisals, mentoring and clinical supervision, • Manage complex OH cases to the highest professional standards, • Provide senior advice on sickness absence, vocational rehabilitation and fitness for work, • Deliver the full OH remit, including:, • Health surveillance, • Immunisations, • Safety critical medicals (spirometry, audiometry), • Support and uphold strong Clinical Governance frameworks, • Contribute to SEQOHS compliance, audits and continuous improvement, • Support clinician CPD, revalidation and professional development, • Provide a visible, trusted clinical leadership presence, • Identify opportunities for service improvement and efficiency This role is ideal for a Senior Occupational Health Advisor who is ready to: • Take on greater responsibility, • Lead clinicians and influence service direction, • RGN qualification with a post registration Occupational Health qualification, • Minimum 5 years’ post registration OH experience, including complex case management, • Full OH remit experience (health surveillance, immunisations, safety critical medicals), • Strong working knowledge of OH legislation, best practice and regulatory standards, • Experience supporting or contributing to clinical governance and audits, • Professional, persuasive and influential, • Calm, credible and confident under pressure, • A natural leader who builds trust quickly, • Commercially aware and quality driven We’re proud to share that ExamWorks UK has once again achieved Level 3 Disability Confident Leader status, reaffirming our ongoing commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities for all colleagues.
