We have an opportunity for a RAQA Manager to establish and lead the Quality and Regulatory function at a pivotal point in the company’s journey. As the RAQA Manager, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will take ownership of implementing and achieving ISO 13485 certification from first principles, while defining and driving the US regulatory strategy for initial market clearance, anticipated via a 510k submission. Following US approval, the role will support expansion into European and other international markets. This is a strategically critical role, central to enabling commercialisation and investor confidence. This position is inherently hands-on. You will operate as the sole QARA professional initially, embedding Design Control, risk management and regulatory structure into a product environment moving from innovation to regulated manufacture. The scope offers long-term progression potential as the organisation scales and builds out its Quality and Regulatory capability. To be successful as the new RAQA Manager, you will bring proven experience building and certifying ISO 13485 systems within a MedTech start-up or scaling environment. You will be confident leading FDA submissions, comfortable interacting directly with the FDA, and capable of defining a clear US regulatory pathway aligned to product development timelines, with an understanding of European regulatory pathways including CE marking. You will combine technical regulatory depth with pragmatic judgement, ensuring compliance is integrated into development without compromising pace or innovation. The Role An experienced Test Technician is required to support production on a temporary basis for approximately three months. This is a hands on, manual testing role focused on testing manufactured electronic boards. It is not an engineering position and does not involve fault finding. The work will involve testing the same product repeatedly, so consistency, focus and attention to detail are essential. This role requires someone with genuine, time served testing experience in a production environment. It is not suitable for a graduate or someone newly qualified. Key Responsibilities * Testing manufactured electronic PCBs and sub assemblies * Ensuring all manufacturing and test activities meet customer specifications and internal quality standards * Performing manual testing operations in strict accordance with established procedures * Inspecting assemblies and route cards to ensure all operations are completed and correctly documented * Handling components carefully to minimise loss or damage * Communicating clearly with colleagues and escalating issues to the Production Supervisor or Manager * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the test area * Adhering to ESD standards and procedures at all times Skills & Experience Required * Minimum 2 to 3 years’ proven experience testing electronic boards in a production environment * Hands on experience using oscilloscopes, multi meters, function generators and similar test equipment * Familiarity with high voltage test equipment * Experience testing PCBs and sub assemblies manually, no automated test equipment involved * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Strong knowledge of ESD precautions * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Well organised and able to manage repetitive tasks effectively * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Committed to Health and Safety standards * Willing and available to work weekend overtime when required Additional Information This is a repetitive testing role requiring focus, reliability and consistency.
