About the Job: We’re seeking CAA Part-66 B1 and/or B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to support base maintenance operations at a leading aviation services provider in Teesside, UK. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of base maintenance activities across commercial aircraft types. Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you’ll be responsible for aircraft maintenance from inspection through to release, maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness, documentation accuracy, and safety compliance. MUST HAVE CAA 737NG / MAX TYPE RATING Responsibilities: Aircraft Maintenance & Certification: • Perform and certify base maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance data, regulatory requirements, and company procedures., • Exercise certifying privileges as authorised under CAA Part-66 and company approvals., • Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard. Supervision & Coordination: • Collaborate with, and where applicable supervise, maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of aircraft checks., • Allocate tasks as required and provide technical guidance to support effective maintenance delivery., • Review work packages, identify and correct discrepancies, and ensure maintenance records are accurate and complete., • Work closely with Quality, Safety, and Compliance teams to uphold organisational and regulatory standards. Safety & Compliance: • Promote a proactive safety culture by reporting occurrences, identifying hazards, and contributing to continuous improvement., • Maintain strong awareness of Human Factors principles and ensure adherence to EASA / CAA regulations., • Support internal and external audits and assist with implementing corrective actions when required.
