Job Type: Full-time, on-site Location: North East England, Sunderland, United Kingdom - Please check that you can work on site. :) Salary: Competitive, based on experience We’re looking for a skilled Unity Programmer to join our expanding team and help build the next wave of free-to-play mobile games. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with the development, optimisation, and ongoing support of core gameplay systems using C# and Unity. What you’ll be doing: • Building and maintaining gameplay systems and features using C#., • Optimising and supporting systems throughout the Unity engine, from UI and player-facing mechanics to low-level core architecture., • Working closely with designers, artists, and fellow engineers to create engaging, high-quality player experiences., • Contributing across the full development lifecycle, starting from early concepts and prototypes through launch and live operations., • Identifying, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues to keep performance and stability at a best-in-class level across platforms., • Shipping updates and improvements to live titles on multiple mobile app stores. Minimum requirements: • Minimum 2 years of Unity development experience, • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related discipline., • Strong working knowledge of C# and the Unity engine., • Solid problem-solving ability with a sharp eye for detail., • Clear communicator who works well in a team environment. Nice to have: • Experience developing mobile games, particularly free-to-play titles., • Familiarity with Android and/or iOS development pipelines.
