Systems you’ll be working on: Ticket Kiosks, Barrier Systems, and the latest Ai ANPR/CCTV Camera technology!Full product training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong networking and minor electrical skills who wants to develop in a specialist, future-focused industry.The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will: • Carry out repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance on parking and access control systems, • Support installation and upgrade projects when required, • Diagnose electrical, networking, and software-related faults, • Configure system software, update firmware, and perform basic application-level troubleshooting, • Work independently, managing your own schedule across the Midlands, • Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all timesExperience Required for Field Service EngineerYou must have experience in a field-based service, maintenance, or service role, ideally involving one or more of the following:, • ATM or payment systems, • Networking / Wi-Fi equipment, • CCTV / ANPR cameras, • Access control or security systems, • Ticket kiosks / machines, • Intercom systems, • EPOS equipment, • Software-driven or PC-based hardware systemsField Service Engineer Skills & Competencies, • Basic electrical knowledge and strong networking fault-finding ability, • Confident working with hardware, cabling, and low-voltage systems, • Ability to troubleshoot software issues, install updates, and configure system settings, • Comfortable using diagnostic tools, remote support software, and system interfaces, • Able to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation, • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach, • Comfortable travelling and working independentlyESSENTIAL Requirements, • Full UK Driving Licence, • Strong networking and smart device experience, • Basic Electrical experience, • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available), • Strong written and verbal EnglishDESIRABLE Requirements, • Recognised qualification in electrical engineering (ECS card / 18th edition / PAT testing etc.), • Recognised qualification in network engineering (CompTIA, Cisco, HND in Computing etc.) If you are interested in the Field Service Engineer role or have any questions, please apply with your latest CV and I will give you a call to discuss the next step of your application and answer your questions.
