Where & When You Will Work • Our Plant in Phoenix, AZ., • 1st shift with ability to work 2nd shift and weekends as needed. What You Will Do • Lead and supervise 20–60 production team members, • Plan daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and performance targets, • Monitor results, address variances, and drive continuous improvement, • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, AIB, and company policies, • Partner with Maintenance and Operations to maximize equipment efficiency, • Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance, • Maintain a safe work environment and reinforce safe behaviors, • Facilitate strong shift transitions and clear communication What You Need to Be Successful • 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing (food or bakery preferred), • Degree + 5 years food manufacturing experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience), • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict management skills, • Experience working with GMPs, food safety programs, and continuous improvement tools, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Physical Demands • Ability to climb, balance, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use hands to finger, grasp, or feel objects, talk or communicate, hear, and visually inspect areas to be cleaned, • Exerting up to 50lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20lbs. of force frequently, and up to 20lbs. of force constantly to move objects, • Withstand climate controlled indoors and outdoor environmental conditions, • There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level Cafe Valley is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in the workplace.
