Summary: The Addiction Medicine Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) will provide comprehensive, patient-centered, trauma-informed medical assessment and support to ATS patients with substance use disorders seeking acute withdrawal treatment and or connection to medication for addiction treatment. The provider will meet with patients at time of admission to assess severity of withdrawal, initiate appropriate treatment protocols (including but not limited to methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone, and benzodiazepines), review past medical history and home medications, and address any acute medical and psychiatric concerns. The individual in this position will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team at Acute Treatment Services including case managers, aftercare planners, and behavioral health specialists to ensure high quality wrap-around care is provided to each patient and a safe discharge plan arranged. Job Description The SUD Outpatient Program Manager is responsible for the administrative and programmatic day-to-day operations of the agency’s behavioral health clinic substance addiction services.
