Job Title: Charter Sales & Operations Specialist Location: Orlando, Florida Department: Sales Reports To: VP Commercial Services and Planning FLSA Status: Exempt Summary: The Charter Sales Operations Specialist & Analyst supports the end-to-end commercial and operational process for ad hoc cargo charter flights. This role combines sales coordination, operational planning support, cost analysis, and performance tracking to ensure timely execution of charter opportunities while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction. The position serves as a key liaison between Sales, Mission Planning, Finance, Ground Operations, and Customers. Essential Functions: Charter Sales Support • Support the Charter Sales team in preparing quotes, proposals, and bid packages for adhoc cargo charter requests., • Coordinate internally to obtain:, • Aircraft availability, • Routing feasibility, • Payload/range assessments, • Permit and handling requirements, • Maintain CRM records, track charter pipeline activity, and manage inbound request-for-quotes., • Act as the operational focal point after charter award., • Coordinate with Mission Planning for:, • Slot approvals, • Overflight & landing permits, • Ground handling arrangements, • Fuel planning, • Prepare and validate charter cost estimates including:, • Navigation charges, • Airport fees, • Ground handling, • Fuel costs, • Permit costs, • Enter and track costs in company systems (such as cost estimation or accounting tools)., • Monitor charter KPIs such as:, • Quote turnaround time, • Win ratio, • Revenue per flight hour, • Contribution margin, • Generate weekly/monthly sales performance reports., • Serve as a key contact for customers during the charter lifecycle., • Provide regular updates on flight status, documentation, and execution milestones., • Quote turnaround time, • Charter conversion ratio, • Accuracy of cost estimates and charter quotes, • Revenue contribution from adhoc charters, • On-time commercial documentation completion, • Customer satisfaction levels Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Aviation, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field., • 2-7 years' experience in at least 2 of the below -, • Sales support, quoting, estimating, pricing analysis, or customer service roles., • Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking quotes, orders, and customer interactions, • Air cargo charter operations, • Airline commercial operations, • Mission planning support, • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret pricing, cost structures, and product specifications., • Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities, • High attention to detail and accuracy, • Advanced Excel and reporting skills, • Ability to work in fast-paced operational environments, • Strong communication and customer service mindset Preferred Experience • Experience with widebody freighters (B747/B777/B767), • Exposure to ACMI or military charter operations, • Strong knowledge of:, • Aircraft payload/range basics, • International permits & airport charges, • Cargo charter pricing structure Supervisory Responsibilities: Physical Demands: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, copy machine/printer., • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period., • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work, • Light to moderate lifting up to 10 pounds.
