Job Summary: The Sales Operations Specialist owns the systems, coordination, data, and execution that allow account managers, specialists, and leadership to focus on selling and serving customers. This role sits at the intersection of sales, suppliers, marketing, training, and events, ensuring operational excellence, consistent execution, and a best-in-class experience for both customers and partners. This individual acts as the central point of coordination for sales processes, account management infrastructure, supplier engagement, training programs, events, and performance tracking. They bring structure, visibility, and follow-through to a complex, multi-branch sales organization while reinforcing Baldwin Supply’s professional, white-glove brand. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Job Responsibilities: • Spring and Fall sales review scheduling, • Review file generation, • Review notes, • Account assignment tracking, • Sales mapping by region-accounts-account manager-prospects, • Coordinating assignment and follow through with Baldwin leads, • Trade show registration-scheduling-booth set up-travel-etc, • Improve tracking system for customer-facing events, like Branch Open Houses, Golf Tournaments, etc, along with internal company events and supplier-facing events, • Coordinating new hire orientation for new account managers, • Customer contact management, • Suppliers contact management, • Coordinate supplier training events-online curriculum and assignments for salesman, • Track training completion and proficiency of salesman, • Coordinate-track vendor training events at BSC facilities, • Coordinate supplier business plan meetings-templates-check ins, • Assist Marketing in planning and executing Baldwin's award-winning Field Marketing Summit and National Sales Conference, • Maintain database specific to recruiting for the sales team. Constant contact operations, • Find ways to deliver amazing hospitality to key accounts, such as coordinating travel for Baldwin events, • Potential customer satisfaction surveys, • Run a supplier rating system. Have status ready for supplier meetings, PTDA-NIBA-etc., • Manage association meetings schedules such as PTDA-NIBA, etc. Reinforce our image as professional-best in class at association events., • Collect and track supplier rebate programs., • Customer research-profiles on target accounts from big targets list., • Competitor profiles and database., • Prep for monthly calls. Example-Gather application videos and stories. 1 per month from the specialists, • Coordinate Specialist meetings. Help with meeting notes, action items, etc. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, or related field, • Proficiency in CRM tools, • Analytical Skills, • Communication and Collaboration, • Project Management, • Sales Enablement and Support, • Process Optimization, • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through, • 25% Travel, • The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms., • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl., • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds., • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
