The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for cleaning and preparing efficient operations of the Hotel including rooms, front and back of house, public areas, and laundry. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for assuming the duties of the Executive Housekeeper in their absence, including the daily management of the housekeeping staff. Housekeeping Supervisors are required to clean guest rooms and public spaces on days they are not covering the Executive Housekeeper duties. This may include all guest rooms, public spaces, including but not limited to public restrooms, meeting rooms, exercise room, pool, and guest laundry facility. Other Duties and Expectations • Manage Guest Request Log: Review log daily to ensure that all requests have been met, taking proactive steps to address problems before they occur., • VIP Management: Monitor all V.I.P.'s, special guests, and requests., • Oversee Housekeeping Team: Complete daily stand-up with the team each day to review objectives and confirm checklists are assigned and prepared for the day in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper., • Room Inspection: Inspect rooms and ensure the quality and cleanliness of all guest rooms and public spaces in the hotel in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper., • Storage Rooms: Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of all storage rooms, mechanical rooms, housekeeping closets and main housekeeping laundry room., • Pre-Cleaning Duties: such as stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up., • Trash and Linen Removal and Replacement: Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms, replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies., • Deep Cleaning: Conducting deep cleaning activities as needed within the guest room in conjunction with the maintenance department., • Departmental Meetings: Conduct daily department meetings with housekeeping staff in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper., • Supply Management: Maintain required stock of all housekeeping and laundry supplies by ordering all needed supplies and amenities on a monthly/quarterly basis., • Inventory: Conduct monthly and quarterly housekeeping inventories on a timely basis., • Maintenance Requests: Monitor work orders and submit to Engineering department according to procedures; Follow up to ensure completion in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper., • Status Reports: Balance and clear the room status nightly, comparing the PM Housekeeping Report with the computer's room status report and resolve all discrepancies in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper., • Lost and Found: Maintain and monitor "Lost and Found" procedures and policies according to standards., • Chemical Safety: Monitor proper use of and compliance with hazardous chemicals according to OSHA standards. General Responsibilities • Have a self-motivated, proactive and a positive “can do” attitude., • Maintain good housekeeping practices., • Be aware of machine results and take initiative to respond to poor results., • Have the physical ability to perform manual labor; climb; bend, etc., • Have a good work, safety, performance and attendance record., • Ensure all production materials are available., • Set up machine and make necessary changes to ensure quality material is produced., • Identify and solve immediate and short-term machine quality, waste, delay and safety issues., • Perform quality control tests on all materials manufactured, • Keep records up to date and communicate fully with other team members., • Ability to operate forklift or other lift equipment is desired, • Run the machine at the maximum speed (as stated on the NTC standards sheet for the product running) with low waste, while producing a quality product meeting NTC and customer requirements., • Perform roll changes, thread the machine, trouble shoot, make diameter, perforation cut, tension, and log saw adjustments., • Responsible for cleaning the machine and work area creating a clean and safe working environment., • Accurately complete daily production reports, and other miscellaneous paper work., • Fix runability problems: Perform diameter and perforation adjustments, correct tension problems, and any other machine problems or adjustments as they arise, • Log Saw adjustments: Understand the correct way to set grind stones, change and grind log saw blade, set roll clamps, and set program screen, • Case-Packer: Understand how to operate the case-packer, load the magazine, set the control panel screen, and make adjustments for case configuration changes, • Wrapper: Understand how to operate the wrapper, change and align over-wrap parent rolls, re-time the wrapper, make adjustments for roll diameter changes, and set the control panel screen, • Quality checks: Run all products to NTC and customer requirements. Check every product case to ensure compliance to these requirements, • Roll changes: Put on correct parent rolls of paper as needed, cutting down finished cores. Splicing the roll of paper into the web and/or threading the machine, • Production and waste standards: maintain 90% production efficiency or better and maintain waste standards at or below 8%, • Greasing and oiling: Lubricate machines daily, making sure oiler is full and all times and that the machine is greased, • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean work area, including clean floor, tables and machines., • Safety: Follow all safety procedures, including but not limited to: Lockout/Tagout, operating with all guards in place, using all personal protective equipment, and wearing appropriate clothing for machine operation. POWDER COATINGS OPERATOR M-F: 2nd Shift (3pm – 11:30pm) The Powder Coatings Operator performs all operations required to verify, document, assemble, mix, blend, and grind materials to create an accurate batch of product to meet customer’s specifications. We have an opening for 2nd shift (2 pm-10 pm). Shelter Advocates are required to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Shelter Advocates who work the holiday are paid time and a half! Our Milwaukee Women's Shelter provides comprehensive services and treatment for women, men, and children whose lives have been affected by domestic violence, addiction, mental health issues, homelessness, and poverty. Our Autumn West Safe Haven provides low-barrier housing for individuals who are currently homeless and experiencing severe and persistent mental health challenges. This position is responsible for the routine operations of the site during the assigned shift, collaborates with all shelter staff, and reports to the Program Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Processing and documenting incoming calls on the 24-hour crisis line/211 Referrals- for potential Homeless families and DV victims and families. Advising Volunteers and Interns on acceptable methods as they relate to the crisis line., • Complete intakes and/or outtakes for families residing at the FSC/MWC Shelter. Including: providing tours for families during intakes and cleaning and preparing rooms when residents leave the shelter for the next family, • Consistently update daily shift reports and keeping Case Managers/Ops Manager/Shelter Manager/Intake Specialist informed, • Helping to maintain the cleanliness of the shelter and keeping order at all times. ., • Complete room inspections on each floor.
