Job Description People First Employment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our manufacturing facilities. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and executing repairs to maintain safety, efficiency, and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and schematic reading skills, along with experience in facilities maintenance and supervisory responsibilities. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and leadership are highly valued. • 3rd shift - Monday - Friday from 8:00 pm - 4:30 am, • Pay range: $27.00 - $35.00, • Training during 1st shift for 2- 3 weeks, • Temp to hire, • #Azusa Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, • Troubleshoot issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters, • Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and modify control systems, • Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep, • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders and maintenance activities, • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to execute repairs accurately, • Lead or supervise maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and operational efficiency are maintained, • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC, or structural repairs when necessary, • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times Experience • Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial facilities maintenance, • Strong electrical experience combined with knowledge of schematics and electrical troubleshooting tools like Ohmmeters, • Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and familiarity with residential painting is preferred, • Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is advantageous, • Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management, • Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and documentation, • Ability to read technical schematics and operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) effectively, • Prior experience in customer service is a plus for interacting with internal teams or external vendors, • This role provides an engaging opportunity for technically skilled professionals committed to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and operational excellence within a manufacturing environment.Company DescriptionSpecializing in the placement of professionals in the logistics & manufacturing world, People First Employment can help you find the job you need to get to the next level!
