Responsibilities The Talent Development Summer Intern will support learning and development initiatives within the Talent Development team. This is an entry level, skills focused internship designed to provide hands on exposure to learning operations, talent technologies, reporting, and internal communications in a corporate environment. The role is task based and highly supported, with clear direction and opportunities to learn how learning and development programs are designed, delivered, and measured. What You’ll Learn, This internship provides exposure to and development of foundational skills in: • Talent Development and Learning & Development operations, • Learning and talent technologies (LXP/LMS ecosystem), • HR operations and required training tracking, • Business and learning data, usage, and completion reporting, • Business analysis and requirements gathering, • Professional communication and presentation skills, • Use of digital tools and AI to support research, analysis, and content development By the end of the internship, the individual will have a stronger understanding of—and interest in—careers in Human Resources, Talent Development, Learning & Development, or corporate education. Key Responsibilities With guidance and support, the intern will: • Assist with day to day learning and development activities, • Support system administration tasks within learning platforms, • Conduct content research and assist with content curation, • Help gather and document requirements for targeted learning initiatives, • Assist with learning usage, completion, and management reporting, • Support testing of new learning experiences and system integrations, • Assist with internal communications that promote development initiatives, • Collaborate with Talent Development team members on ongoing projects, • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion. Qualifications This is an entry level role. Prior experience is not required. Preferred skills and interests include: • Comfort using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, • Familiarity with cloud based applications and navigating new systems, • Interest in learning platforms, digital learning tools, or social platforms, • Comfort using AI tools to support research and writing, • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes Why Join Our Talent Development Team?
