Job Description Job SummaryWe are seeking a Finance Project Manager to support the North America Real Estate finance function. This role is responsible for overseeing payment operations, monthly reconciliations, vendor management, and issue resolution related to real estate transactions. The position also plays a critical role in financial planning and reporting, including forecasts, annual operating plans, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial projects. This is a high-visibility role that interacts with both finance and business leadership. Key Responsibilities • Vendor Payments & Accounts Payable Oversight:, • Manage daily operations of the accounts payable team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and rent payments across multiple systems., • Monitor and troubleshoot payment issues; ensure vendor setup and maintenance is accurate., • Purchase Order Management:, • Prepare and submit framework purchase orders; ensure proper setup and classification., • Reconcile purchase orders and payments with client accounting systems., • Forecasting & Budgeting:, • Create forecast reports by cost center or lease line for sector-level reporting., • Support annual operating plans and monthly forecast updates., • Financial Analysis & Reporting:, • Complete variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets., • Assist with month-end close processes and reporting packages for senior leadership., • Conduct balance sheet reviews and implement appropriate financial controls., • Compliance & Controls:, • Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with corporate policies and client requirements., • Assist with the identification of risks and recommend or implement new processes/controls as needed., • Process Improvement:, • Evaluate existing financial and operational processes to identify areas for improvement in accuracy and efficiency., • Project & Stakeholder Management:, • Participate in strategic finance, account, and cross-functional projects as they arise., • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field., • 3–5 years of relevant finance or project management experience, ideally in real estate, corporate finance, or shared services., • Strong understanding of purchase orders, accounts payable, and payment reconciliation processes., • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis., • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools., • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior leadership., • Experience working in real estate finance or corporate real estate operations., • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems., • Knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements in a corporate setting., • Prior experience leading or mentoring a finance or AP team., • PMP or finance-related certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus. Certifications (if any) • None required. Relevant financial certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP) are preferred but not mandatory.
