This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a solid track record in the construction industry, specifically in the custom homes sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from scheduling to cost control, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality control. This is a permanent position that requires a strong commitment to excellence, a keen eye for detail, and an unwavering dedication to delivering client satisfaction. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Senior Superintendent, you will: 1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle managing scheduling, safety management, cost control, quality control, and contract management., 2. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they fully understand expectations and responsibilities., 3. Review work progress daily to keep projects on schedule, promptly addressing any delays or issues that arise., 4. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques., 5. Implement comprehensive safety protocols, ensuring all workers adhere to safety rules and regulations., 6. Manage the budget, keeping a close eye on costs and implementing cost-saving strategies., 7. Review and interpret contract terms with stakeholders, ensuring all parties understand and adhere to contractual obligations., 8. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists., 9. Effectively communicate project updates and progress to team members and stakeholders., 10. Address issues, questions, and concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of customer service. Qualifications: To be considered for the role of Permanent Senior Superintendent, you should have: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably within the custom homes sector., 2. Proven experience in scheduling, safety management, cost control, quality control, and contract management., 3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a diverse team., 4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions., 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders., 6. A solid understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles., 7. Familiarity with construction/ project management software., 8. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred., 9. Certifications in construction safety and project management would be a plus.
