Job Description Position Summary Hartford area fabrication house is seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team. This role requires precision welding, strong fabrication skills, and the ability to work from blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality finished products. Key Responsibilities • Perform TIG welding on various metals (including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, as applicable), • Fabricate metal components and assemblies from prints, sketches, and specifications, • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols, • Set up, operate, and maintain welding and fabrication equipment, • Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal parts with a high degree of accuracy, • Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and appearance standards, • Inspect finished work and make adjustments as needed, • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area · High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a TIG Welder and Fabricator, • Proven expertise in TIG welding, • Strong fabrication skills, including layout and fit-up, • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, • Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment, • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, • Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent), • Experience in a manufacturing or custom fabrication environment, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, • Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal materialsCompany DescriptionEpic Personnel Partners, LLC is a privately held woman-owned staffing firm.
