Job Description Position Overview The Director of Commercial Insulation will lead the development, execution, and growth of the commercial insulation division within our franchise system. This role is responsible for building and scaling a profitable commercial program that supports franchise owners in pursuing B2B opportunities, including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, government, and institutional projects. The Director will serve as the subject matter expert in commercial insulation, ensuring franchisees have the operational systems, vendor relationships, sales strategies, and technical training needed to win and deliver commercial projects with excellence. Key Responsibilities Program Development & Strategy • Design and implement the commercial insulation business model for the franchise system., • Define service offerings, pricing structures, estimating standards, and project management best practices., • Establish safety, compliance, and quality assurance standards aligned with industry regulations., • Develop scalable tools, templates, and resources to support franchisees entering the commercial market. Franchisee Training & Support • Create and deliver commercial insulation training programs for franchise owners, sales teams, and project managers., • Provide ongoing coaching and support to franchisees pursuing commercial opportunities., • Lead workshops, webinars, and field training sessions on commercial bidding, estimating, and project execution., • Support franchisees with pre-bid qualification processes, RFP responses, and proposal development. Sales & Business Development • Build relationships with national and regional general contractors, developers, and property managers to create system-wide commercial opportunities., • Develop a pipeline of preferred commercial projects and distribute leads to franchise owners., • Partner with Marketing to create collateral, case studies, and campaigns targeting commercial clients. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in commercial insulation, construction, or building materials., • Deep knowledge of insulation systems, energy efficiency standards, and building codes., • Proven track record in estimating, bidding, and managing commercial projects of varying size and scope., • Experience supporting or leading within a franchise, multi-unit, or distributed business model preferred., • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills., • Excellent communication, presentation, and training abilities., • Ability to travel approximately 25% to support franchise locations and attend industry events. Job Description Summary of Primary Functions: Dobbs Equipment is seeking a Retail Account Manager (RAM). The RAM will be responsible for the sale, rental, and leasing of John Deere Compact Equipment. The RAM will be responsible for identifying new and dormant accounts to drive equipment sales and revenue in the compact construction equipment segment. This job description does not include a complete listing of all the duties and functions of the position. Management reserves the right to assign other duties or projects as necessary. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other duties may be assigned) • Focus on selling John Deere Compact Construction Equipment (CCE) full product line (Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, Compact Track Loaders, Compact Wheel loaders) and their attachments, • Prospecting: Target dormant, new and walk-in accounts to sell John Deere CCE., • Welcome and greet potential customers at dealership. Listen to their requirements, answer all inquiries with detailed information and make compact product equipment recommendations., • Make adequate number of calls per day to the assigned accounts to identify sales leads and promote dealership products and services, including parts, service and sales offerings., • Ensure that leads and quotes are followed up quickly (within 24 hours)., • Quote and negotiate prices, credit and financial terms and complete necessary documentation to complete the sales process., • Maintain an updated knowledge and understanding of manufacturer discounts and special dealer pricing programs, • Reporting: Maintain updated and accurate records of assigned customers and report all sales activity in CRM/Dynamics, including and not limited to calls, leads, quotes, and customer management., • Provide demonstrations and machine walk around to customers at dealership., • Meet or exceed company targets for calls and sales quota., • Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with new equipment and current technology., • Complete evaluation of used equipment to determine trade-in value when requested., • All employees are expected to adhere to the safety policies of Dobbs Equipment and the clients for whom we work., • Following the safety policies of Dobbs is a condition of employment and is everyone’s responsibility. Key Responsibilities: Training & Development • Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs for franchisees, sales estimators, and field representatives., • Build scalable onboarding programs for new franchisees and their sales teams., • Develop training materials, playbooks, and digital learning content (presentations, videos, role-play scenarios, e-learning modules)., • Lead live training sessions (in-person and virtual) to reinforce best practices in consultative selling, lead conversion, and customer relationship management.
