Title: Project Manager Purpose: Lead, coordinate, and execute all phases of commercial and utility‑scale solar PV projects—from early development through construction, commissioning, and warranty—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Communication • Lead and facilitate internal and external communications throughout project development and execution., • Conduct weekly status meetings and on‑site coordination meetings with stakeholders, sponsors, subcontractors, and internal teams., • Assign weekly workloads and action items to project team members., • Site Evaluation & Safety, • Perform preliminary site visits to assess constructability, design feasibility, and pre‑existing conditions., • Develop and implement OSHA‑compliant safety procedures., • Create site specific safety documentation, including: Site Safety Plan, Staging Plan, Flagging & Traffic Control Plans, Fall Protection Plan, Emergency Response & Rescue Plan, Conduct and document Site Hazard Analyses. Engineering & Design Oversight • Review, redline, and approve internal engineering designs., • Oversee outsourced mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering work to ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements., • Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and warranty activities across all internal and third‑party teams., • Contract & Scope Management, • Execute all contractual obligations per Prime EPC agreements., • Review, finalize, and manage Scopes of Work, Professional Service Agreements, and subcontractor contracts., • Assist in subcontractor selection, RFP evaluation, and award of work packages., • Construction Management, • Manage all aspects of construction from project assignment through final completion and warranty., • Ensure project milestones are met within approved budgets and schedules., • Oversee QA/QC processes, including final system inspections., • Manage all MV interconnections and required documentation for utilities and municipalities. Permitting & Regulatory Compliance • Prepare and submit permitting applications to state, federal, and local authorities., • Serve as liaison with government agencies, environmental consultants, and engineering firms to secure required permits and licenses., • Coordinate all required construction inspections with regulatory bodies., • Maintain working knowledge of applicable state, county, and municipal codes., • Financial & Schedule Management, • Develop, manage, and track project budgets, schedules, and payment plans., • Prepare and approve final cost budgets based on estimates and procurement data., • Monitor project performance metrics and proactively mitigate risks., • Approve purchase orders, evaluate RFPs, and obtain internal approvals for procurement., • Manage subcontractor and professional service invoicing., • Utility & Interconnection, • Develop understanding of utility electrical requirements and interconnection agreements., • Prepare and submit all interconnection documentation to utilities and townships. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management required., • Master’s degree in construction management strongly preferred., • Master Electrician license, NABCEP Certification, PMP Certification, or other relevant credentials are a plus., • Strong knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and solar project financing., • Commercial PV construction experience is strongly preferred., • Proficiency with: Office 365 Suite, MS Project, MS Visio, Procore, HelioScope, Energy Toolbase. Location: • Primarily office‑based 5 days a week in Mahwah, NJ with regular travel to project sites as needed.
