Job Description Jamaican Cuisine in Bear, DE is seeking a front-of-house assistant and cashier to join our team of ten. We are located at 1643 Pulaski Hwy. The ideal candidate will be self-driven motivated and engaged. This position is a prime-time role, guaranteeing at least twenty hours per week. The employee MUST open the store 11:00 a.m. from Tuesday through Thursday and work 11:00 a.m. to 9:30p.m / Close on Wednesdays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the shifts will run until at least 3:00 p.m., with opportunities for additional hours if applicable. The workweek consists of five days, with everyone is off Sundays and one additional weekday. Our store operates Monday through Saturday. Responsibilities • Cash out orders via phone and, • Use a cash register and/or point-of-sales (POS) system., • Maintain records of sales, • Respond to orders inquiry via phone, online etc., • Face to face interaction with patrons, • Keep front of house, counter or sales area clean, • Wrap or package utensils, • 12 months plus Cashier Experience., • Know how to use Point of Sales (POS) system, • Process payment via phone, • Excellent customer service skills, • Attention to details, • Appropriate phone etiquette We are looking forward to receiving your application.
