Legal Assistant (Corporate | In-Office | Dover, DE) We are partnering with a well-known, nationally respected company to hire a Legal Assistant for their Dover, Delaware office. What You’ll Do • Prepare and file corporate and UCC documents with the State of Delaware, • Liaise directly with the Delaware Division of Corporations to support filings and resolve issues, • Draft certificates of formation and other corporate documents, • Assist with compliance-related filings and corporate maintenance, • Provide administrative support including correspondence, mail handling, and document preparation, • Support internal legal staff on corporate transactions and client matters, • Assist with phone and email communications What We’re Looking For • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general administrative tasks, • Exposure to corporate legal documents or filings (internship or entry-level experience welcome), • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred Why This Role? • Join a reputable national organization, • Work directly with experienced legal professionals, • Hands-on exposure to corporate law and filings, • Structured training and mentorship provided, • Ideal entry point into a long-term legal career Details • Location: Dover, DE (in-office, 5 days/week), • Compensation: $38,000 – $40,000 Physical Requirements • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations • Work is generally performed sitting, talking, hearing, and typing • This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings • Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching • Ability to lift and carry items weighting up to 15 pounds Remote Work & Information Security Requirements Employees in this role are expected to maintain a work environment that supports the protection of confidential, proprietary, and client-sensitive information, consistent with Company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
