DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Act as the primary quality assurance resource to the manufacturing team for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement., • Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection., • Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports., • Assist in process certification by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data, and making recommendations., • Develop, execute, and analyze quality-reporting measures., • Report to management on quality issues and trends., • Participate in internal and external quality audits., • Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques where appropriate to improve the manufacturing process., • Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation., • Understand and implement the requirements of AS9002:1994 and ASQR-01., • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field., • 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within the manufacturing industry., • Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Engineering, AS9002:1994, ASQR-01, and aerospace quality., • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles., • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.
