Job Summary As a District General Manager, you will lead a cross‑functional team and oversee multiple accounts within your territory. You will provide strategic direction, ensure operational and financial success, maintain regulatory compliance, build strong client relationships, and support community engagement. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development • Lead and inspire District Operations Managers, Operations Service Managers, Client Service Managers, Warehouse Managers, and their teams to deliver exceptional service., • Drive development, performance evaluations, and succession planning., • Provide tools, systems, and resources to support team success. Client & Community Engagement • Serve as the primary representative and brand ambassador for the territory., • Attend client and community events to strengthen relationships and promote company values., • Ensure strong client partnerships and achievement of key metrics including profitability, safety, and engagement. Operational Excellence • Lead accounts and make decisions balancing risk, reward, and long‑ and short‑term outcomes., • Ensure compliance with regional, state, and local policies governing meal and retail programs, safety, and QA., • Conduct audits and implement improvements. Strategic Collaboration • Partner with Sales, Retention, and Finance on proformas, proposals, and sales/retention processes., • Collaborate with regional leaders to share best practices, mitigate risks, and champion diversity. Financial Accountability • Own P&L performance for all districts in the territory., • Ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and budgeting., • Submit all required reports on time. Culture & Compliance • Support senior leadership in shaping culture across the district and region., • Ensure fair and consistent application of all policies and procedures. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years of progressive multi‑unit experience in food service, hospitality, plant operations, environmental services, laundry, or other Support Services areas. Preferred Qualifications • Strong leadership background with experience in contract and budget management, customer service, people development, food services, and negotiations., • Proven ability to grow business with strong financial and operational acumen., • Analytical, strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills., • Positive, professional, flexible, resilient, and committed to inclusion., • Strong initiative, organization, prioritization, and multitasking abilities., • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite., • Extensive travel required.
